Most Asians find it bitter and painful to see the flag which was used to represent Japan during the Second World War.
I am Asian, please do not speak for me or my family or pretend that you represent my family.

To the Asian people the flag means racial insult, politically and further historically.
You have no clue what you are talking about.

Please, never overlook that for Koreans and the other victims in Asia, swinging the "Rising sun flags" is just same as "Swinging Hakenkreuz" in front of the European peoples!
The Asian community as a whole is more divided and would not be combined in a view point that you think. There is more racial tension between the Asian community as a whole and it has nothing to do with the flag.
The JDF (Japanese Defense Force) uses the rising sun as their flag currently. The fact that you find something that is written in a science fiction lore offensive is laughable. I find that you can't understand the difference between something in reality and a game offensive. In fact you should probably not watch any movies or books because they may be written or use symbols that are someone can find offensive... or confuse the fact they are reading fiction and not non-fiction. People who can't determine the difference are a hazard to society
Instead you should actually take your time and energy if you truly want to pursue this and post to all these other actual companies that make products and have commercialized it. I mean if you find a sci-fi game offensive, you should find
these actual items like shoes, shirts, cell phone skins, car paint jobs, hats, buttons, movies, books also equally offensive. I think if you start now writing letters to all of them and begin your petition campaign, you might be able to effect them all by the year 3000. Good luck!
