Quick question for anyone who may know the answer (or for the devs). If we are selected for the beta will we be given any codes to give to friends so that they may join us?

No, Closed Beta is for invited players only.

I have not seen any official announcement regarding friend codes for beta, or anything regarding beta other than than the recent Friends and Family announcement and the fact that open beta is coming in "Summer 2012"
