we rolled 4 man teams last night, about 20 of us all together....

Basically I consider myself a lone wolf in MWO, though when I play tech, I use Davion. Lets say that my nationality is of the Federated Suns, and I am a patriot. However I am also an... independant buisnessman. Just helps that the Dracs, and Capellians don't treat employees well, Lyrans are our allies and over 90% of jobs the FWL have involve... settling disputes with other members of the FWL, so no conflicts of interest ever come up. I had a long running MW RPG campaign that went much like that, well until Cathrine fragged things up, then there was a long gray line that led to a lot of black ink, and, well I bought Nowhere and retired there, on the equater for lolz.

Side note... there are NO mandatory meeting times / practices / trainings / hourly expectations. This group contains people that want to win games and blow up stompy robots, but we are time-constrained and can't commit to practice/training schedules etc. We drop when as schedules allow and have a BLAST doing it! hahaha

Our TS server is also a very friendly place... more or less you just pop into the main room and wait for a spot to open on a 4-man lance. Alternatively, you can wait for others to join the main room and just start a lance yourself. :-) We also have a Mechlab/BS channel (yes, that's really what it's called) where you can hang out to get advice on a build, strategy, or any number of things that come up when discussing the game or other hobbies/interests that you may have.

Last night I had family in town, staying at our house. The ladies went shopping so I had time to grab three drops!!! With the Lone Wolfs I ended up with three wins, no losses AND managed to walk away with 5 kills. fun, Fun, FUN!

You know, I haven't really had much success finding groups on the Lone Wolf TS3 server. I usually sit there waiting for 10 or so minutes, then bail back into solo PUGing.

It seems like only way to consistently find a group is to join a unit.

Hmmm... I guess it must be the time you're getting on the server. What time do you typically try?

I'm in the US, Mountain Time (UTC -7). I typically jump on right after work (5:30 pm MST) or later in the night (say... 9:30 pm MST through 11:30 pm MST). There's typically 2 or 3 lances on. I also pull some speed drops (when I play during my lunch hour; 11:30 am MST to 1:00 pm MST) and there's usually a full lance playing... I don't know when they usually get in/out.

I just checked and right now there are 3 guys on (if you login to our website and go to the home page, there is a "Who's on TS" wigit on the bottom left hand side of the web page)

@NRP, I also recall jumping on some other TS servers (ComStar and NGNG's). Things were pretty much the same way (depending on the time you are on a lot of ppl were on, but usually in their own faction's sub-rooms). I hope you saw the guys on yesterday. As of right now (10:26 am MST) there are 5 guys on. :-)

Grabbed 4 drops at lunch today in my Griffin 3M... 3 wins, 1 loss, 7 kills, 1 death and averaged about 650 damage per game... Now that's what I call FUN!!!

I usually try around 6 PM pacific time. There are plenty of people on the server, but they are usually already grouped up.
