When Is Fps Improved On Low-Spec Machines?

Is this ever going to be addressed, or is Cryengine incapable of scaling down properly?
And no, I'm not spending hundreds of euros to upgrade my computer just to play one game. Besides, Diablo 3 and Tribes:Ascend work very well with this rig - yes, I know they are different types of games, but the point remains.
Intel E6500, GeForce GTX560, 8GB RAM.

My computer is modern. It can handle 3+ gigabyte photoshop files without choking - mainly thanks to dual SSDs -, and play the best-selling PC game of the year maxed out, and play a very fast-paced FPS at good settings at decent FPS.
I've said it elsewhere: F2P game needs to be accessible to the widest possible audience, as it requires a vast playerbase to be a viable business model. As it stands it's not.
Even if it did, as I said in the OP, I'm not going to spend money I could spend on plane tickets to a warm country just to play a video game.

Since when are 6 year old mid-range processors 'Modern'?
When your 6 year old mid range CPU is bottlenecking your 2.5 year old mid range video card, you have a problem.

No, you got that entirely wrong. I don't have a problem - there are plenty of great games out there. Piranha has a problem as I'd spend money on their game if it actually was playable.
And you have a pretty jaded view of what average people's rigs are. Typical for forum trolls.

While it sounds like you've upgraded quite a few parts of your system, the bottleneck right now is going to be that old CPU. PC's do have to be upgraded every few years to keep up with the new games. I'm planning on going Ivy Bridge for Christmas.
Hopefully they will optimize the engine a bit for the low end, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

dont argue with such fanbois...
they think your hating the game or pgi because you criticize something...
they dont get your point that your trying to help with that hint.. and your correct.. most games are made for low-mid spec systems.. so they are playable for a large scale of ppl.
but like i said... those guys your argueing with.. dont get it.. that pgi and mw:o needs much more players as it has right now.
about your topic... since the netcode suxx and the game isnt stable at all.. what you think they gona fix first ?
1. netcode
2. programcode
3. they add more mechs ?
you can choose only 1

The game needs a quad core processor. this is a dual core.
I have a laptop that's a core 2 duo @ 2.3ghz and the game stutters. it is what it is. Upgrade, wait for optimization, or wait for them to stop everything and cater to you.

4-year old processor and 1.5 year old video card. It was actually an upper-end processor just before the first gen i7's came out.

Not to mention you are using DDR2 RAM and nForce 700 series chipset.
Thinks like CPU architecture, RAM speed/timing/capacity and chipsets make a difference.
But yeah, I'm a forum troll, so disregard me.

Optimization is a strange thing...
Edit: Oh wait... just saw what CPU you're running...

Midlevel. The quad core q6500/6600 had been out for a year before the lower-end dual core e6xxx series were released, and even then those were trounced by the e8xxx series that came out about 6 months later anyway.
And calling a GTX 560 midlevel even for it's series (5xx) is generous, since the 560Ti, 560Ti-448 Core, 570, 580, & 590 all outperform it.

I'm not a forum troll. I have, however, played games on PCs since the 286 came out.
Unfortunately this game is using a new engine that simply isn't going to work well, ever, on what is basically dinosaur tech even when right now we're basically experiencing one of the slowest "need to upgrade" cycles in PC gaming ever.
My 4 year old mid-range-when-built (AMD 965BE quad core) gaming rig played this game acceptably (~30fps). I finally upgraded my video card last month (from my four year old mid-range-when-bought 275GTX) and it now plays it at 60FPS @ 1920x1200 with high detail (and I didn't buy the card just for MWO - it's not the only game starting to push some pixels beyond what my 4 year old tech could handle).
To keep up with PC gaming I've had to buy exactly 2 mobo/CPU combos and 2 video cards in 10 years. My new video card will probably carry me at least another 4.
Compared to the '90s? Ye gods that's amazing.
At some point, you're going to have to upgrade from that old processor. If there's still some games you like that are using older engines then you're good and can play those. It's possible you could put off upgrading for another year. But to expect new engines to run on old tech just isn't reasonable, and MWO is using a new engine.

LIKE A BAWS
But yeah, I know its optimized for quad cores as well. But the dev is trying there best to optimize for duel cores, and hell.. works on mine beautifully,

still you have to agree....
low spec = more ppl
look at all the mmorpg´s ... look at CoD ( for example ) i can go on and on.....
you have to agree too.. PGI is doing a very very bad job with their program coding... its not stable at all ( yeah the beta arguement is getting old.. so much time and blablba )
for me its a complete failure to go open beta with such a poor code.

i5 3570K 3.4Ghz
Corsair 2x4Gb
Samsung 128Gb SSD (for boot and multiplayer games such as MWO)
And my old ATI HD5770
That should solve my 20fps problem...
