Seriously on Forest Colony what is up with the black out effect when I am getting shot in the LEGS?!?!

Really...

How amazing that my cockpit gets glow when no one is shooting me in the cockpit.

This HAS to get fixed. And I am sure the Devs are aware but now, my favorite map has become the worst map for me.

It is a bug that has to do with the glow effect that a mech gets when taking hits. They are working on it. The last patch was able to tone it down a bit. I think it is in their list of known issues.

Why does a mech glow when taking hits in the first place. I can understand if your mechs starts togliw a bit at max heat or from lasers and flamers but are the lrms filled with glow i. Thr dark paint or something.

The problem is an unfortunate interaction between the Glow and High Dynamic Range. Basically, the light intensity on the "Glow" is so high that, when HDR kicks in to scale all of it, everything other than the glow goes really really dark.
