Eh sir, Iam calm I have no problem with premades doing their thing. I play pug and I like it.
If I were a smartarse I'd say something like
"good, recognising a problem is half way to.." - but I'm not, so I won't. But it did cross my mind..
But on a more serious note, if pugging is your preferred style, then that is fine - But there is a vast chasm of a difference between pugging being your preferred style, and talking about all these uber-comp premades out there with "
bad attitudes".
People who group up are by nature already being more sociable (be it on the internet via voice, down the pub over a pint, or wherever), and thus it's natural they will try to encourage others to have more fun by grouping up - it's how clubs have gotten started since there have been people to be in clubs.
The reason I advocate just chilling is because you and so many others seem so vehement in your PoV that these groups are full of people who's objective is not to have fun and hang out, but to be super-competetive and have bad attitudes toward those who are not, as you made evident in the post I quoted.

What I stated above is due to experience with competitive groups and the attitude that is conveyed by varies groups.
Dont get me wrong there are casual groups aswell, but I dont care about them either, because I do not play games without friends and I have no intention of making "internet friends".
Yes, there are indeed as many different types of groups as there are people in this world.
Be aware though (and as a relatively long-standing member of this community you will be aware), that when we talk about "groups", we mean the ad-hoc groups that form on the community TS3 channels or C3, like the Beta Server, or the one that was started by Helmer - The kinds of groups Taizan is talking about above.
The casual groups you speak of are the overwhelming majority the ones who hang out in the dropships and people come & go as folk come online and have to leave to do real life stuff.
I've not seen a single bad attitude on any of the TS3 severs once, no one is shouting "more dots, more dots!" unless it's as a joke, and no one turns away a guy who says he's new, and would like to team up for some games to learn the ropes, etc..
No one's ever told they suck, and no one ever thinks they're hot-sh** just because they beat some team of 8x randoms.
It's cool you acknowledge the casual groups (as we all should, they're the massive bulk of all groups), but still, every time I see this topic come up, there's little digs, snide attitudes towards people who group up as if they're the ones who are shunning the rest of humanity, when they clearly aren't.
That's another reason why I advocate chilling - Not just for you, but for everyone. I quoted your post because it was indicative of a point of view I disagree with, not in order to single you out specifically.
