I figure it would be better if i put a list of new questions i have into one post. If somebody here thinks i ask too many questions, then don't go to a forum where people ask questions, lol.

Anyway here they are:

1. What is some good PC temperature monitoring software out there i that ya'all could reccomend? I plan on getting a second monitor next Friday to manage it.

2. When i get my second monitor, i also plan on getting a second mouse so that i can manage stuff on the second monitor. How does one get the second mouse to work for the second monitor?

3. My monitor is a 27inch LED, 1080p, acer monitor with 5ms response time. The box didn't tell me whether i got 120Hz. I had to take it to the geek squad department only to find out that it is a 60Hz monitor. It handles MWO perfectly as far as i can tell. It is in my budget to replace it with a 120 Hz monitor next week, i just don't want to spend the extra money if i don't have to. Is there a reason i should or am i ok with the fact that it's a 60Hz monitor?

4. What is some good anti-virus/spyware freeware out there i can use? My first impulse is to get Norton stuff, but for the last several years every time i tried, all that Norton has succeeded in doing was slowing down my PC and not finding nearly half the stuff that "advanced system care" and "spybot search and destroy" can(the software i've been using for years and will probably put on my new gaming PC if i don't find better software).

I can answer the first one for you right now. Techpowerup's GPU-Z is good for your graphics card, and various programs like Core Temp (easy to use) and Speedfan (more control) for CPU or the rest of your system.

And uh, #2 wasn't a question.

With regards to #3, what's the percentage of time that your system spends running at the limit of 60FPS when running MWO?

As for your question about #3, Whenever i have time to play a video game, it's usually for a few hours at a time.

1 : CPU HW Monitor direct link : http://www.cpuid.com.../1.21-setup.exe
It's far more indepth than core temp.

2: No need for a second mouse for a second monitor, one mouse can work across both screens.

3: 120hz monitors are the new fad, don't waste your cash when a 60hz monitor is good enough for what you want.

4: Don't ever use Norton or Mcafee...yuck. Windows In built firewall is capable enough on that front, for anti virus your looking at AVG or Avast both a good bits of kit.
As to anti spyware, if you really must have it Malwayre Bytes (http://www.malwareby...warebytes_free/)

I used to use AVG and found it bothersome after time. Since then I have used Avast for 3 years and love it. Ditto the recommendation for Malwarebytes - I advise installing it on a thumb drive too and keep it in an easy to get to place - just in case. And keep it updated

I also have to recommend Avast + Malwarebytes.

1. HW Monitor is very good for system temps. I also use MSI Afterburner for monitoring my GPU temps and OC'ing my GPU.

2. Just use one mouse.

3. Don't replace your current monitor just because of the 60mhz limitation, unless you are planning on trying Nvidia's 3d vision(which personally I don't think is worth it)

4. Personally, I use Microsoft security essentials for my anti-virus. Does very good and is very light when it comes to system resources.

1) Hwmonitor, hands down.

2) . . . this question scares me.

3) the only real purpose to 120Hz is if you're going to do stereoscopic gaming [3d]. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket [must be nice] I'd recommend a 2560 x 1440 high resolution monitor before 120Hz.

4) Most people are saying Avast, but in the past year or so it's gotten almost as bloated as norton/McAffee, so I'm gonna go with Microsoft Security Essentials here. If you have Windows 8, you already have it. If you have windows 7, it's still a free download and integrates well. I actually moved a client from Avast to MSE after he'd contracted a trojan that Avast couldn't remove even with a boot time scan, but MSE dealt with in about 5 seconds.

Thx guys, i got the HWMonitor, Avast, Malewarebytes, and Microsoft Security Essentials installed. Avast has already blocked a few viruses while googling some stuff today. ;)

See you all ingame!
