This sugestion is actualy to the community, and not the devs:

With more and more teams getting organized and their ranks increasing, we're probably having a larger number of battles with teams setup on both sides. But as the matches are server organized, the players usually dont know who they're fighting, if they're up against another team or not.

So what I propose is, when the game starts, the lance commander of every team in the game sends a text message something like: "Blackthornes in the field, fight with honor!" or whatever he/she wishes or is in the team's rules of conduct, whatever.

Yea when they implement the possibility of adding those.
Meanwhile it would be cool if everyone started doing this :(

How about also adding an icon depicting platoon allegiance next to each player's name. That way you will immediately know who is in a premade and who isn't. More importantly, have your friends' in-game tags displayed in different color so that you can quickly tell where they are and what they are doing.

tags or icons would possibly show who is premade from a unit/clan but not the pick up, meet on ts type (which i would suggest are still the vast majority right now). further, there have been several occasions where units short a full drop number pick up folks like myself off ts and we get to drop with them (S1LT seems to be the one that i get the privilege with most)... not having their tag might imply to the other team that i am a pug, rather than a comm connected scout (or whatever).

on the other hand, if we can turn off the tags in drops (much like i do with my founders), then i see no problem with allowing drops with affiliations showing. once we have decals, i would suggest that they too would be good in game.

In fact I think the tag (for being in a group) should show for every group (just like it is in WoT) and it should be mandatory. I don't know about clan allegiance, I'm quite indifferent about that.
