If your dropping the damage it takes before exploding AFTER the armor protecting it is gone.. Does this mean you are changing the damage model so that ALL the armor is gone before you take any criticals? if not why are you reducing the damage? I mean other then catering to the cry babies that don't know how to fight a Gauss Cat?

If you are just turning on the Gauss Rifle chance to explode thats cool.. we needed it.. but reducing it's damage seems a bit much since you already did that once at least

Nothing is changing with the criticals model.
It is now, and has always been: criticals only occur once armor on the section has been stripped.
Anything else is a bug.

Well then I must have one heck of a bugged mech, because I lose the gauss rifle in the left torso of My K2 before the armor's gone all the time.
When they drop the health on the gauss, I'm just gonna' switch to an AC10 as a replacement.

There's a known issue where the "paperdoll" doesn't update properly, which may explain it.
