I'm not a founder nor have premium time so c-bills are an intense grind when you're up against these 4 man pugs and have atleast 1 if not 2 dissconects almost every fight. Between that and the **** poor c-bill rewards you get for good performance as opposed to just showing up to the match for 3 minutes I don't really want to waste my c-bills repairing my expensive fatlas and streak cat. That extra armor is usually not the deciding factor in a match anyways, but maybe I should just power down in a corner and wait to see how the battle goes before engaging to see if it's worth it to scratch my paint up.

TLDR: Being a mercenary is fun ;)

Repair your mech. Do not abuse the system.
This is suicide farming.

They need to make the 75% R&R come only once you have paid for the R&R.
You are breaking the economy and are screwing your team.

Do as you like. It just makes it easier to core your mech when the time comes.

Honestly I hate it when people do this on either side. If they're on the other team they're just a walking victim waiting to happen. If they're on my team they're dead weight. They should force deduct the 75% repair from your C-Bills earned in the next game if you don't repair twice in a row. Abusing the free repairs which are intended to help poor players is just asking for the system to get changed out from under you.

No, suicide farming would be me REMOVING my center torso armor and then running into matches straight on towards the enemy team, this is gathering c-bills because no matter how well I do in a match I won't get more c-bills than I do for just showing up and winning or losing.

Don't misinterpret my actions because you don't like them.

A founder would say that.

Oh look, and all but 1 player that liked your post is also a founder. Gotta love that view.

its tough being a lone wolf mercenary ;)

i think they should increase money a little for free accounts. its kind of ******. I tried with one and unless you win 50% you're going to be pretty much breaking even or gaining credits at less than 50k a game, so you need a crazy amount of games to buy anything decent.

hop on TS and get a pug TS group and win more ... or wait until matchmaking is implemented so there are less pubstomps

Maybe you should play a different game. You know, one where you don't feel the need to screw your teammates.

"I didn't support the game I am playing so now I am going to us an exploit to get imaginary credits faster and then insult those who did support the game." We get it... you are cheap, both in real life and in game. I wouldn't count on that 75% repair/rearm being around forever if this is how people are going to use it. Thanks for screwing it up for those who might actually NEED it in the future.

If I want to throw money at the game I get to CBill grind a bit faster. Deal with it because with premium time you get the same CBill bonus as founders.

So what's the real problem here? Every single incentive in the game is slanted to encourage people to do exactly what this guy is doing. He's just working within the system that somebody else set up.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I hear where you are coming from with the repair costs when you do not have premium or founder (founders up to this point have had both).

I avg 102,000 Cbills per match according to my stats. I have friends in the low 90's maybe even the 80's.

Sucks to be pigeon-holed into running light mechs if you want to save for anything. With a light the repair bill might be 25K-35K so even that takes a chunk out of the 100K avg I make per match. Running heavies and assaults can easily be 70K repair bills which means averaging on 30K profit per match. What's that almost 200 matches to get a Cataphract? Let along unlocking the other variants of it.

However I would never leave my mech unrepaired because I play the game to have fun and I'd rather have to play 3 times as many matches the intended way than to abuse the system. It's almost as bad as the disconnected and afk players that you complain about yourself in the OP.

I would gladly pay the cost for the founder program now but I unfortunately missed my opportunity. I'm really hoping they release some other kind of package (which I think might have been hinted about) very soon.

Seriously? What's your average C-bills per match in your stats and how many matches have you played? I think I've played about 350 and avg just over 100K with no premium or founders and I just PUG all my matches. That avg has been going up as I get better but I can't imagine it will get any higher than about 115K unless I join a team and pug stomp.

Or run mechs that don't cost as much to repair as you make on average.

The spontaneous combustion is due more to working full time and being a full time college student... I usually only play like 4 hours a day.

Its good that you let us know. That way when you (Axeman) show up in a match I know who to leg, arm and torso before CT killing.

Kind of pointless when my auto repair is off, you would help your team more by CT'ing me and getting a bigger salvage bonus.

So are you saying that if you don't have founders or premium, you have to punish yourself by playing a crappier mech than what you want to actually play...becuase it's a game...and the purpose of the game is to have fun?

You see how this makes no sense?
