40-50. It's not a small studio, but not truly a big one.

If I had to guess I would say five. They each became millionaires when they got our founder money and now dont have the drive to make a good game. Hence all the horrible changes since open beta and on the horizon (4 man premades, 3rd person, MC for each time you paint your mech etc...) If they do not get rid of the 4man limit on Tuesday as promised I am going to spend all the time I used to spend playing mwo, bad mouthing it all over the internet and to my group of gamer friends.

I remember the number 45, I think it was from the impromptu "Ask me Anything" thread near the end of CB. And PGI is currently hiring.

I asked a friend(who is a programmer and used to work for EA) who has been in beta since aug and he said from what he has seen as far as progression and content added that he would be stunned if there was a total of more than 20 people dedicated to only working on this game, thats graphics, nework, and programming combined.

He said its probably less and closer to 15 but also mentioned cryengine is a ***** to code with when you try and do anything outside the box so to speak that the engine deveoper didnt add support for you run into issues and that could be a reason for alot of the delays.

well, if we look into code quality, i bet there's only 2 coders, one is outsourced from india, second is always drunk. both don't have a clue what they code cause they never played the game.

That explains the netcode issues.

One of them said in an interview that PGI has a total of 45 employees - but I don't think MW:O is PGI's only project right now (they seem like nice guys, so I hope not for their sakes) so there's no telling how many of that 45 is working on MW:O at any given time. My guess would be 'not a lot.'
