I do agree that puggin can be pretty frustrating but to me not the end of the world. When no other lancemates are online I jump into pugs pretty often. Some have gone terribly wrong from the start and some have been a pleasure to be in. I am still learning the game and not have mastered it as much as some others but none the less I still have fun...even when you look up and see your team has killed one and you are the last pilot standing....CHARGE!!!!

I play both quite frequently and I can say I have my frustrations pugging every now and then but my good experiences with pugging far outweigh the bad.

PUGs are not the problem.

The guys that are AFK- or Suicidefarming are.

I'm a regular PUGer, and I'm still having a good time. Not sure what problems you're having, other than afk's maybe.

I pug. some suck, some are great. Depends on ToD and weekday/weekend. Here are some random reasons your pugs may fail:

4FPS bug. Must restart
Black Screen. Must restart
random program crash without error. Since you have to relaunch, I guess that counts as restart
I forgot to rearm, must drop
I forgot to repair, I must drop
I forgot to equip X, I must drop
I forgot to bring my butter-infused kitten, I must drop
My mommy. . . . . I must drop
the house is on fire. .

. . . I could do this forever. Pug. Make witty banter. Eventually you'll click with someone. Befriend them, run together. keep up with the witty banter, club some baby seals over the head, find some people to play with.

I understand your frustration, but there really are several less than painful [to you, anyway] ways to butter that poor kitty cat's ******.

No, not really. It's for not being particularly productive.

If there's something you can suggest to improve the PUG experience, that's a worthy thread. Or if you can't really be bothered to do that, you could always join a House or merc group so that you don't have to PUG again.

But the cats would appreciate it if they were left out of the butter.

P.S. The PUG experience sometimes annoys me as well... basically, it annoys me when I experience it. But this isn't the way to go about solving it...
