Was wondering if PGI was planning on giving us a Black Friday mechCredit sale? Been sneaking some money away in ye ol' savings account to buy some MechCreds.

Come on Dev's! Give it a good think about! ;)

Well let me think...
For Canadians, the "Thanksgiving Day" is when? Second Monday in October?

The Thanksgiving Day that we in the US celebrate is more or less a US Holiday, not so shared everywhere else.
Most of the "black friday" shopping 'deals' are marketing / sales promotions based in the US for the US.

Its kinda like getting England to Celebrate the Fourth of July, its not one of their most popular holidays...

Having a "sale" on "Black Friday" would be nice

LOL, I seriously doubt the the Parliament will declare a national holiday over a particle, but hey, who knows? The Brits will down a pint for the smallest of things (<see the pun?)

Yes I did, there were no pictures. The year was 1976. The Place was Oxfordshire Air Force Base. Of course I was there with well over a 1000 enlisted men and officers of the US Air Force, does that count? The Brits were staging a protest because they thought we had some nukes there... Cant tell you if they (The Brits) were correct.

hello Mr missed the point. Its not about thanksgiving its about black friday/cybermonday. Yes it happens to be after the american thanksgiving but they happen to be seriously major sales days.

Hello Mr AlexWildeagle

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are ALSO American generated days. Not so much anywhere else.

A bit testy today?

Look, I am ALL for a sale, but I dont see it happening, Those days are not days celebrated in Canada. PGI / IGP are Canadian based companies and follow traditional Canadian holidays. Canada does not have a "black Tuesday" or a cyber Thursday or Friday (the days that follow their Thanksgiving day). That is all I was saying. I missed no point.

Those 'days' are big for us in the US. Not to many other countries have those types of sales or days.

Doesnt Matter if Black Friday and Cyber Monday are American Generated days. Its about the pick up of sales PGI would make. The wonderful people of Canada would benefit from this too. Anyways it was just an idea. Would be nice to see PGI have some "every now and then" Sales on mech credits, or have like "TODAY ONLY" X amount of MC extra when purchase of X type MC package" Just an idea to throw out there. I usually budget a 60-100 bucks a month for games. Sometimes i just save that up for League of Legends Store or my Itunes app game stores. I will most likely be spending roughly 20-50 bucks a month on MC *depending on how often I need it.* I just use my Foudners mechs to farm Mech XP, then use my MC to convert it into General XP as I wish to hurry and max out Basic and Elite Mech Efficiencies anyways. Either way, I think PGI would see a rather generous boost in Mech Credit sales if they did that every now and then.

Because people in Canada definitely don't buy stuff off of American websites on black friday and cyber money. Not a single person. Nope. Never.

You really felt the need to necro the thread? And you're in the minority of people buying MC for this "Sale".
