I don't want to uber the ac20 or anything like that. Let's start with it's good points, er point. It does alot of damage. bad points. It's hot, it's heavy, it takes alot of crit spaces, it has limited ammo, it has a delay to fire, and surprisingly, it rarely goes where it is aimed. The last is what I would like to address. I have been given to understand that though your crosshair may be on the target, your AC20 is still slewing in alot of cases. Ok fine, but that gives the false impression that you are actually shooting at something when your precious one of few rounds goes flying wide left or right of the target. I have found that if you keep you crosshairs on the target for a few the gun will line up right. But hey I am made alot more vulnerable just standing there or running in a straight line trying to get the slow slewing barrel to line up. My suggestion, give a slew indicator for the ballastic, or atleast the 20. SO you can actually aim with it and try a kentucky windage shot vice shooting yet another round off into space. It could be a square that slews across your display with the AC20, that way when you do get the urge to fire it you do know where it is pointing. I am unlocked to elite on the mech I am in using an ac20. And moreover I do well enuff with it. But I feel as though the convergence speed of the 20 is somehow broken cause you can't actually tell where the barrel is aimed unless you wait patitently for it to align. I am of the mind that the AC20 is a hit and run weapon. I can't do that with a weapon that refuses to go where shot. Again my suggestion (some kind of indicator to let you know where you ac20 is actually aiming). Not a big thing or a priority, but it would be nice.

I would like to see a targeting reticle that leads the targets for us on any projectile weapon. It doesn't have to be perfectly lined up everytime but something to give us a little idea of the best place to aim would be beneficial.

The clans have a targeting computer and i would think it would work the way you describe.
as it is right now that's what you should be doing mentally anyway.... leading your targets.
personaly i have almost completely stopped using ac-20's in favor of a Gauss. the ac-20 is not worth the heat
