I was not able to get in on this one this time ( new son was born) but my question is how we're winners picked? Were the winners the ones who killed a PGI DEV? If so... Were the guys that were on the DEVS teams that actually protected their DEV and or worked with their team mate DEV to win a game and make sure the DEVS stayed alive, awarded anything for their achievement of DEV protector?

I saw at least one dev comment thanking the guys who were on the same team who worked to protect the dev

I can honestly say that if there was a dev on my team, I would quickly earn my first team kill (that I am aware of).

Someone tried. A teammate lit up the dev guy big time and the rest of the whole team turned on the TK'er....as they should have.
I hope the guy/gal got banned. There doesn't get to be any better evidence of a TK than doing it on livestream to a dev.
Funny thing though.... I guess it could be argued that they did say that PGI would give a prize to the player that killed a dev. They did neglect to say it had to be an ENEMY player.
