I want to like this game. I really do. That's why I paid you guys $120, when I thought it looked like I would. But these changes to groups and match making has been a total bait and switch for all founders.

You can't even possibly believe that this is helping matters. Last night after two hours we got exactly one 8 vs 8. The rest was "Failed to find match" for a half an hour. Followed by another hour of doing the same thing that everyone else is: abusing 4 mans, and PUG stomping.

Please immediately revert this 4/8 nonsense. It has accomplished nothing but drive away your fans, who paid a hell of a lot to support you long before these new comers were giving you $3 for a skin. I'm so serious man, we've had a huge drop in clan participation since you started screwing with groups. People don't even log in any more because so often people are left in a situation of:

"Well you can wait for 3 other people show up, or 4 of you can go play with a team that is half deaf and dumb."

You have our ELO, you already have the code for match making by weight-class. An organized group of X ELO and Y weight should be a fair match with an unorganized group of the same X ELO and Y Weight. Certainly more so than the simultaneous 4 mans with no weight balance that are screwing up your game today.

There are also about 7 other threads about this same exact crap. Please respond on post accordingly in them and stop making this place a cluster #@%@. Thanks Boss Man! :D

Every time I try to get in an 8-man it's like pulling teeth, I wish the UI were more user friendly. Being able to merge two 4-mans, or at least 'upgrade' an existing 4 man into an 8 (and back) would help a lot.

5-7 teams with pug fill-ins would also make it much easier. People don't want to get into an 8-pilot group only to have it turn into a 7-pilot group that has to disband into a 4 and a 3, then disband and reform when #8 shows up, lather rinse repeat.

The 4/8 split isn't even the real issue, ELO/Phase 3 will solve several huge issues

Not being able to drop 5-7 is a killer.

Do you seriously believe this?

There's no way that 8 players of the same skill level as 8 other players won't dominate if they're given other advantages on top of their skill.

I miss the time when you could group up as many players as you had and just go shooting stuff. Also, the pug stomps and failed drops are just symptoms.

You do realize that the "just go shooting stuff" was generally other players?

The easiest fix I can imagine would be throwing all groups into a queue together, regardless group size, and let the matchmaker figure it all out. You may drop against a full premade. You may drop short players... seven vs. eight, six vs. seven or seven vs. seven... so be it. You are organized and probably on voice software. Screw throwing PuG players into the mix to even things out to eight and certainly screw throwing PuG players to the wolves. I would love to see totals on one day accounts for MW: O. They would probably be alarming.

8 man queue not living very long? Saw that one coming.... Most people don't want a challenge. Good thing ELO is coming, it will force that challenge back on them.

I for one as a player am tired of a group of pugs going up against premades. The least pgi can do is implement chat system tied to the game. Seems like every other match I'm in is agianst premades and it sucks getting destroyed that fast.

PUGs need to be separate from premades and ECM needs nerfed in a bad way. That sums it all up. :D

But I dont wanna go stand next to Kaspirsky, he smells funny...

Seriously though, if the guy isnt going to bother reading the Original Post because he wants to be the first reply even though his canned reply isnt even related to the topic, he should go stand in the corner. Act like a child and be treated like one.

The only info we have says one in ten drops includes a group. Your feeling is just that: a feeling. It is neither correct nor incorrect but based on what info we have, it is unlikely to be true.

Funny. I was on last night also. We dropped 8 man for about 2-2.5 hours. We had 1 Failure per drop 6-9 drops.

Guess you should a only paid $60 like me then. I had fun (while losing) in 8 man drops Yesterday.
