yesterday i got a new dragon mech but when i started using it i realized that it was not at all what i wanted. normaly i would just get on an old mech and start saving for a new one that i would like but i was so sure that i would like the mech that i sold my old mech so i could get it sooner like an *****. so right now i'm broke and stuck with a mech that i don't have the money to make worth it.

so my question is is there any point to asking for a refund from support or am i stuck with this mech.

PS i got the mech with in-game money not MC.

i do understand that this was entirely user error and don't blame mwo at all for this i just hope for the sake of me being able to continue playing and enjoying this great game that i can get the money so i can get a new playable mech

i would though suggest a test drive feature

I see no reason for a refund. Nobody forced you to sell your old mech.

As I said in your OTHER thread...

Chris K said this in another thread....

We take your feedback about the user interface flow into consideration and are working on it.

We also re-evaluated our position about this kind of situations and will be handling them on a case by case basis. Customer support will get back to you shortly and sort this out. :(

That was in reply to a player who accidentally sold a Mech and wanted it reversed... Support wasn't issuing refunds/etc... and as Chris points out, they're now handling issues like this case by case...

Your only option is to email support@mwomercs.com and see what Support says... but just saying "not happy with my purchase" I doubt they'll refund anything...

Email support@mwomercs.com and ask Support... that's the only way you'll know if they'll even do it or not...

EDIT - Also... being broke and not being able to repair/rearm a Mech you own is yet another reason they intro'd Trial Mechs... since they have no repair/rearm costs associated with them, you run them to build up funds to be able to run your Owned Mechs if needed...

I've only know PGI to give refund for a mech if they became bugged( 0 armour bug anyone?).

Trail mechs are supposed be for test driving mechs but they only put 4 up at a time and the Dragon was part of the last rotation.

It might have worked better if both your topics weren't back to back in the forums  Proof read twice, post once.

as the above states, you can definitely E-mail and ask. . what's the worst thing that can happen, they say no?

And where are all these new "trail" mechs people keep talking about? I know you can pilot TRIAL mechs, and most of the time these get focus fired down so you see them scattered along the TRAIL to the enemy base, etc, but I hadn't heard they'd earned the nickname 'trail' because of it :D
