Check out this link for how a big chunk of Mechwarrior actually made it into an Australian high school history exam. The picture is priceless.

I think the test writer is confusing the Russian revolution with kerensky storming the palace gates of Terra

The best part is, anyone who wrote about the mech in their exam will still pass. They were asked to write about the picture they were presented, not the original.

My B.A. in history approves: I'm pretty sure I found references to some sort of 'Atlas' in Greek Mythology, a 'Loki' in Norse Mythology, and 'Timber Wolves' heavily present in Jack London's fictional depiction of the North American continent.

IN this case the observer wrote the history ..... and battletech technical readout 3025 :)
