As the Inner Sphere's armies are locked in death grips with the Word of Blake, the Clans suffer their own catastrophe at home. The disasterous defeat at Tukayyid forced the Clans to deal with a harsh reality: They were no longer invincible.
The power grab began almost immediately as each Clan jockeyed for positioning to take advantage of the defeated Crusaders. The honor code of zellbrigen, the philosophical heart of the Clans, begins to break down and the once-noble knights of Kerensky now battle as savagely as the Inner Sphere "barbarians" did only 50 years before. Orbital bombardment, biological warfare and wholesale slaughter are the tools with which the Clans now fight.
Who will survive?

MekWars: The Wars of Reaving details the events between 3070 and 3095 in the Clan Homeworlds. Each Clan has a unique set of resources available to them which the player-characters can exploit, including their industrial capacities, design capabilities and technological research. Players can also experience combat as the shadowy Society; the Scientist-led rebels whose aim is to usurp power from the Warrior caste.
