have a 4X with 2 UAC/5 & 1 AC/5. It's crazy fun shooting like a rooftop psycho. And do get some kills.

Problem is that as the damage builds up I draw more attention to myself and die early. . Kind of the opposite of an Atlas alpha strike.

What should I know so I don't die so quickly?

EDIT: BTW, I am NOT a rooftop psycho. I was told to write that by my crazy invisible friend, Zacherly. I'm as sane as they come!!

Stay at maximum range? Use yourself as bait to draw enemy team into a killbox?

Headshot everyone?

Use cover, and get an escort, too.

Run with at least 2 others.

The hotfix to UAC/5's make this less awesome than it was before.

Slapping people with rapid-fire ballistics is a good way to get attention fast, no matter what you do.

I'd actually go with twin AC/2's + Gauss rifle instead of twin UAC/5's + AC/5. No jam problem from the Gauss can opener, and the twin AC/2's will shake up (and if internals, chew up) a target quickly and efficiently. It'll let you plug in a few heat sinks with the freed-up tonnage and space, too, if you need it- or goose the engine rating a bit higher if it isn't maxed out for similar benefits, since anything under 250 rating is going to give you more sinks plugged straight into the engine housing.

The config will also give you more reach, meaning you can start at longer ranges and thus be tougher to get at whilst sniping away.
