I have a 4SP and a K2. Gauss HBK sounds good, but long range LRM support seems pretty fun too. Thoughts?
Just curious for others opinions.
Next Purchase: Hbk-4H Or Cpt-C1/c4

I enjoy LRM support, but I am partial to Hunchies. The -4H is a lot of fun (and damn powerful with a DHS upgrade), the -4J (or just a modification to your -4SP) is also a viable fire support option if you want to stay in mediums.

Bump.
Okay so for a load out.
C1 with 2x LRM15s Artemis and 4x Mlas?
OR
C4 with 2x LRM20s, 2x SSRM, and 2x Mlas.

I am currently in the works of going elite on a Cat-C1. Fiddled around with loadout a lot and found one that is a nice Jack of all trades and thus the perfect mech for pugging as you can take on different roles.
So here goes:
Upgrades: DHS, ES, Artemis
Engine: XL 315 (78 kph)
Left Arm: LRM10+Artemis
Right Arm: LRM10+Artemis
Left Torso: 1x ML, 2x DHS
Center Torso: 2x ML, 2x DHS in Engine Slots
Right Torso:1x ERPPC, 1x AMS, 1T AMS Ammo, 4T LRM Ammo + Artemis
Amor: All but Legs maxed. Legs: 57/60 each.
Set the ML and LRM to Chainfire.

If you have a 4SP already, you could just use that as an LRM boat. You can fit 2x LRM15 and 1080 rounds into it, which isn't too bad for a medium, and still have a few small lasers in the arms to annoy any light mechs who come for you.
