If the game intends to be a mercenary game that uses a long term pay for upgrades menatlity on mechs..Id like to propose somthing to make things alot more interesting. I play Eve Online and its the type of game where you can **** in peoples cherios. Id love to see that in this universe...my favorite quote for eve is this

"World of Warcraft is a game that holds your hand, shows you what to do, and gives you a cookie (even when you fail).EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place"

This being said I belive many of the diehard Mechwarrior fans amongst us would be for a mech salvage system where we can take peoples upgrades if they lose thier mech after they buy them so to speak.

Anyone elses opinions on this?
