Love the game, want it to be ever better, think lists are pretty cool - so here goes mine.
Top 5 things I want from MWO: Listed in reverse priority order.
5. Fix the PPCs - they just don't work right. Im one who believes the game is actually quite balanced and what we need is more and more and more content. But along the way a tweak to the PPCs would be nice I must admit.
4. Third person view camera. Doesn't have to be a way to play the game from, perhaps just a cinematic mode. I simply want to see what I look like on the battelfield.
3. More game modes. We have only 2. Lots of different ideas I've seen. The one I like the most is a true base defense vs attacker mode - with a real base that can be defended, with walls and destructable environments. CTF would also seem to work. But I like the idea of structures involved.
2. More Maps. Let's be honest. We have 3. I've read the content roadmap and realize we will get a new one at the end of Feb and another maybe in March..But that's not enough. And River City at night isn't the best in case no one else has told you
1. Quicker Realization of the vision. I'm sure I've seen many of you on the battlefield and you've seen me and our TX clan. I play as part of a large clan and we love the game. But we are desperate for the COMMUNITY WARFARE aspects of the game laid out in the original design docs. Actual clan management, clan decals, paint jobs, Clan vs clan warfare, and most IMPORTANTLY an ONGOING PERSISTENT version of the game that allows our clans to take territory, build our base, even capture planets and amass wealth and power beyond the galaxy's immagination.
The vision for this game is one without equal. Compared to the product we have now our clan has doubts it will ever become a reality. We remain hopeful and vigilant that it does. It is why we play, it is why we fight.
