I am building a setup for MWO (among other things) that will have 3 screens, keyboard, joystick, throttle, and possibly pedals. the biggest problem that I have is that my current computer desk is NOT going to fit 3 screens, so I need a new one.

my constraints -
depth - I have a decent amount of room for width, but it cant extend into the room too far (3-4 feet max)
height - IF I want to fit my computer under it (not required), it needs to fit a 24 inch (60cm) tall case
cost - I would like to keep it under $500.
overall moveability - I have to move it up 3 flights of stairs, and some of them have tight corners. I have help to move it, but would prefer not to have to move a 400lb monstrosity

any help you can give me in chosing a new one will be appreciated!

edit: 20-22 inch monitors

What size monitors are you looking at getting?

We need to know how much desk space you need.

I would suggest designing something in google sketchup and reading my desk build thread http://mwomercs.com/...ing-desk-build/ I designed mine to be assembled in the location needing only a drill and screws. that whole desk cost me around $300 plus about $100 for the dual monitor mounts, and it can easily fit your tower underneath. The entire design can easily be adapted to your requirements.

Vincent:
that is a possibility, although I was hoping to find something workable pre-built.
the fact that it can be assembled on location is a definite push towards building my own though.

IKEA Gallant series might work, one of the few series still holding some quality.

Still if you got some tools building your own is easy enough and prob quite a bit cheaper.
