Communication is important in online team based games. I’ve seen several topics surface on the forums regarding in-game VOIP and how important it is to have in MWO. VOIP is in many ways the best way to communicate with other team members, but this only works well when properly managed (Clan VOIP servers) and to be honest I don’t see this work on random public games.
Back in the old days before VOIP became popular and didn’t affect your internet performance when playing games yet, some games used an in game quick voice command systems, my first experience with one was with the game “Starsiege: Tribes”, I’ve not seen many games that had a so complete and extremely useful quick voice chat that rendered the need for old school chatting (typing) obsolete.
I’m currently playing Tribes: Ascend, a F2P remake of the tribes universe, check out the Voice Command System if you don’t understand what I mean with Quick Voice Command System.
Is there anything know about MWO if it will hold a Quick Voice Command System?

I believe Bryan mentioned in a thread about VOIP that MWO will have a built-in contextual voice command system.

Hello Wild Cat and Welcome to the forums!
As pursang just mentioned, Bryan did post about a contextual command/order menu here http://mwomercs.com/...post__p__191802
If you have any additional questions might I suggest looking at this thread http://mwomercs.com/...-pretty-please/ as it should answer most of your questions.
Cheers.

Great to hear, now I can only hope that there is a great deal of quick voice commands.
I do recall reading that VOIP post, but must have missed the post from Bryan that confirms it.
