What Happened To Footprints?

Sorry if this has been asked before.... I skipped out about a month and a half while I dealt with RL stuff...

At what point did footprints go away? When I came back, I was in Frozen City and there was something harassing me from behind, I went to go hunt it down, and lo and behold there aren't footprints anymore....

Will they be coming back?

Also: Atlas' just aren't as cool when their eyes don't glow :rolleyes:

Footprints are still showing and I was playing just a few hours ago...

Footprints are still there. I have seen them playing this weekend.
Perhaps they are not shown all of the time?

Check your graphics settings, with three-four patches since you last played, chances are they've been reset.

AFAIK footprints are still in, and Atlas eyes still glow.

I just wish the footprints would not dissapear so soon.

Huh... I don't see an option for it in the options... I've got all my specs cranked to Very High...The only thing I have disabled is Motion Blur....

Even on the lowest settings footprints still show. Unless theirs specific settings that glitchs them out?

It would also be good if the mechs feet would be in line with the terrain, as in they rotate to the angle of the terrain.

Maybe now might be a good time for a fresh install. We're getting a new patch (if all goes well) today anyway, plus PGI has requested feedback by players than do run a fresh install to see how things pan out.

2 birds with 1 stone.

Nnngggghhh.... I'd really rather not... my bandwidth kinda blows x.x It could be downloading my entire day off... and I wanna go take out a cataphract :rolleyes: Maybe I'll let it run overnight...

Is this also true of the matrix-esque bullet wake behind the Gauss slugs that used to be there? I remember it from earlier versions, but I don't see it anymore... is it there, and I'm just not seeing it? Cuz that was awesome!

Whats the point of having foot prints if they disappear too fast? Foot prints should be used as part of gameplay to track down or identify whether an enemy has crossed a certain path. Like maybe youre playing in Frozen City, and you decided to check the cave/tunnel thru the small corridor near D4, you found nobody there but there were lots of footprints headed into the D3 cave exit. You would know immediately that the enemy is doing a base rush on you.

i used my Missileboat Cata-A1 to make a Footprint in the Face of an Atlas (i love Jumpjets)...does that count too ?
