Guardian ECM will be lost if taken off of a mech. It does not go under equipment anymore. It just disapears. Tested a coulpe times, feared saving, but did. Now it's lost. No way to get it back on as it's not on the list anymore.

It shows up again if you select head slot, but what good is it there.

You are right. it is now only for the head slot. Which is funny as 1 slot vs 2. It will never be used there.
