Now if it happened to you five games in a row, then you'd have a problem worth mentioning.
And besides, if you're going to start implying that people are using aimbots, why didn't they just aim for your cockpit?

Since I'm not going to face the same guys time and again, I don't see how it could happen multiple times in a row unless everyone is cheating. So your statement doesn't really make any sense. As for why not cockpit, to make it less suspicious would be one reason.

These perks can help us see a target for longer and also where they're damaged the most... So we aim for those parts and cripple the mech OR it goes boom!
Its just unfair advantage untill match making comes aound and its been a while waiting...

There is no mention of someone cheating in the thread. They only asked if someone else had the same experience.

It's true I have just played about a month, but seriously to pinpoint a small side torso at 600m on a moving target with the amount of zoom we're playing with, no I don't think that's something you can do reliably.

I gave him props for a great shot! Flukes happen, but some players are definitely skilled

The shot you are describing isn't actually that hard a shot to make.
You got some homemade zoom you're using? At that range I don't think my side torso would even be a pixel wide.

One shot sure, I have no problems with that. But multiple ones on a moving target that far away, really?

I'll spell it out for you to make absolutely certain you understand (but in all honesty I think you're intentionally playing dumb):
If you play games where everybody is hitting you in the cockpit over multiple games (not necessarily in a row) then yes, MWO has a problem keeping cheaters in line and they are everywhere.
If you only have one game where a few guys manage to hit you in the same place, then you just ran into some guys who were good shots.
If the game were hackable to the point of being able to use an aimbot, many different people would have figured it out by now.

I'm sorry but with max 4x zoom at that distance you can't pinpoint aim someone, you'll be too small to differ center torso to side torso. Just try it next time on someone 600m out. I'm not being dumb at all, you on the other hand suggested a dumb way to discern if what happened to me was suspicious or not. Besides hacking has to start small somewhere, you just don't start with a huge amount of players all hacking at once.

I've sniped people further out than that. Granted, I can't consistently make shots like that, but it's do-able. And I regularly group up with guys who are able to shoot that well consistently. You had a run of bad luck is all.
Go play another 20 games and let us know if it ever happens again.
