Have never crashed mid game, 1 in 10 played successfully will I crash after the match is complete.
Really hope we figure out a workaround or a fix soon - 4 of 5 CTD is not working out well.

Crashes did not start until I patched Nov 20 and 23 patches.

It's extremely frustrating and getting to the point where I'll be moving on to greener pastures for a while. The stability and options of other f2p/freemium type games will provide a much more stable and enjoyable environment until things around here start to change.

I find that it happens often the first time I launch (in a given session). Then if I restart the client and launch again (when my mech is returned to me or with a trial mech) it generally runs just fine for a while at least.
Hope that helps... kind of tired of crashing a lot.

Same for me, although it's more variable. Sometime I'll CTD 3 times in a row (before giving up on playing altogether). This started for me with the latest patch. I never had CTDs 3 months ago.

For my feeling its about serverload, more load on server means more crashes.
I think its time for a european server, it would take some load from american servers.
Yesterday evening it was terrible like never before: In 2h playing nearly no match with 16 active players...

i read a little workaround in the german section of this forum, posted by Greg Summers.
rightclick on your desktopicon, goto properties(?)-> compatibilitys(?)->deactivate desktop arrangement(?), save
second one, start as admin
doesnt help to 100%, though

Tried this - did nothing for me. Even restarted my computer before booting up MWO. CTD on the first drop.
