CTDs were extremely rare for me before, it's really bad this patch. Besides all the bugs we already had that didn't get fixed, we now have less FPS and many crashes.

Had this happen twice last night after the patch. One while in the middle of a match, one second I'm trading blows with an mech and the next Desktop. Then the second time while dropping into a match, searching screen then desktop.

edit: just found out it happens every time our team gets river city map, my client crashes

I started CTD on game launches after yesterdays patch, happening about 40% of the time.

Entire team disconnected from the server at the exact same time, about five minutes into the match on the River City map.

Never had CTD on launching the map before until this patch. Happened around 4 times for me.

EDIT: Just had 2 crashes in a row after posting this lol.

Seconded. Mine was a Blue screen of death. Just sitting in Mech Lab. First such crash and the first after migrating to Win 7 x64. In my experience migrating to x64 greatly increases the stability of the game

CTD about 1/3 of the games; as the game is loading I get the crash. Stopped using my own mech and using trails.
Between this and the memory leak the game is getting frustrating. Yeh I know, its beta

I now crashed 3 times in a row. Only thing I'm doing differently now then before is opening chrome to post here which I don't think it'd affect anything. This needs to be fixed soon Wasn't doing this before.

My game has started crashing to desktop when starting a match this happens about 1 in every 5 matches and started with the last patch also get the fps bug randomly

Everything was working fine for me up until I patched the game. Now, the game boots ok, but when I log in, the game goes to the main "home" screen for about 10 seconds, then I get a "server connection was lost error". Friends have told me that they see me online for a second before I disconnect. So, I know Im getting online but then getting booted for some reason. I tried any/all suggestions on the forums, and even completely re-installed (including cleaning my registry).

I am hopelessly addicted to this game - PLEASE HELP!

Update: I tried to log on to my account on my sons computer and the same thing happened. However, his MWO account on his (the same) compyter works just fine.

This tells me its more then likely not a hardware or driver issue.

Looking for suggestions - PLEASE HELP

It must be something with my account on the server side of things??

I also have crashed just after launching multiple times. Another issue i have wich is happing more often is the screen freezing. The game continues to run but my screen is frozen. After i die it puts me in the observer mode and its fine.

CTD after map load and for me only on Forrest. I could drop no problem solo but when I grouped with someone the CTD. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that corrected the problem temporarily.

Just tried to log in and I was crashed back to the desk top before the sign in screen was displayed. I think there may be a problem with the shaders.pac file. I will uninstall the game and re-download it. Hope this fixes the problem.

Last night, a lance mate and I were crashed out of the same game within seconds of each other.

Yeah, still getting (apparently random) quits to desktop both when still alive and after being killed (spectating)
