At least on my screen:
Missiles which pass through assets and hit you will cause cockpit shake but don't deal any damage.

Anyway, still not nice but not a big deal IMO.

On the River City map, I saw several missiles pass through a building in front of me after I had backed up behind it and broken the lock.

Edit: This was River City, on the upper city on the right hand side when facing the ocean. Can't give exact co-ordinates or a screengrab as I just shrugged it off and carried on. If it happens again I will do my best :wub:

Missiles go thru buildings in river city D3 -D4 area. The buildings dont block.

Happend to me also LRMs flying throuh rock. Even through terrain in River City. I was uphill near the boundris as a GausKitty fireds at me, i saw that he hittet only the ground befor me but my mech took damage.

On the far side of Caustic Valley (I forget the cell #, but its the ridge along the edge of the map on the side with the long, thin ridge).

Imagine my surprise when 2 salvos from 2 medium lasers and an SRM 4 shot failed to register any damage on a critical damage Jenner that had shut down. The fact that it was shut down means it wasn't the old lag shield, my shots just passed through him.

I've had... weird hit detection since the last patch all over the place. Not lag shield weird. Random weird.

i've noticed this on both forest and caustic, i was holding out against five mechs on the ridge behind a silo, all of the lasers and ballistics were hitting off the cover as I expected, but a lot of the missiles just came straight through my cover as if it wasn't there.

Also, just a note, should AMS really fire if you're behind cover and it knows that the missiles are going to hit? Surely it won't have a line of sight either, not sure if it's actually going through like the missiles are, but it was firing off like mad, a little unnecessarily

I get hit all the time through cover. From LRM and SSRM missiles. Through rocks, buildings and hills.

I don't care if I take damage or not. ( I'm of the opinion that I take damage, btw. It really ****** me off when a streak cat can hit me through a building and still rock me around. This problem is the biggest one I can think of within the game system. I'd rather have this fixed before the SSRM de-buff, ECM implementation, screen bug fixes, crash issues.

If the devs want to implement destructible terrain then we need to see it modify the landscape- I don't see this happening anytime soon.... so please just make them explode on the surface like ballistic weapons

What I think is broken is the alpha channel on some objects. Because right now some buildings might as well be trees.

Like somebody forgot to add the option line 'missiles pass: false' or however its implemented.
