Mine was on River City. I was coming from the space port though the river, spotted an Atlas heading the other way, turned into the bay to bite at its ankles... and ran smack into the entire enemy team. While in a Commando.

They all started shooting and I went down swinging. Tied them up for a good thirty seconds too.

The most epic death I had was on Caustic, when I was having fun in a COM (moved on to Hunch now). It turned into a base race, ish, except we were kind of just watching to see what would happen, and they all decided to rush to us, so we got a late start, and would have lost...

...except I, realizing that 132 KPH means that I can have some fun, go back to base to prevent the cap. I then realize that there are at least six mechs around, but I decide, hey, why the hell not, blaze of glory, you know. Well, as it turns out, they had a nearly impossible time trying to hit me, and while I died after about a minute, our team actually ended up winning the cap. That was the best match ever.

I came around a corner on River city and out of pure luck and ahhwaa reactions PPC'd a Commando in the face and he fell over... But almost instantly that was followed by a dual G-cat shot to my face...
Most epic death I've had, probably not, a aww wtflol moment I'll remember though...

I did a full 360 backflip in my AWS-9M earlier today when someone blew out my center torso with an Autocannon.

It. Was. AWESOME.

I was fooling around in my hunchback river city, when suddenly I encounter the entire enemy team in the buildings by the sea. When I finally went down I had lost all armor, both arms, both side torsos and a leg, and was fighting only with the cockpit laser.
Biggest repair bill I've ever seen.

In my shiny new cataphract, taking out 4 heavily damaged enemies with 2 medium lasers and a torso-mounted AC/2 before finally going down. I'd been fighting a battle of attrition with the last 6 members of the enemy team, after the rest of my team died. They finally cut off a leg and one of my arms as I was jumping over a building. I simply stopped, turned around, and unloaded with all of my torso weaponry. I cored everything I could see, until the two mechs which had avoided significant damage finally took me down. I ended the match with a total of 5 kills (I had gotten a killshot earlier).

It was glorious, and one of the many reasons my CTF-3D and I will be sticking together for a LONG time.
