In mechlab and main menu there is this annoying humming sound going constantly. I have music turned off. How do I get rid of this?

Are you sure you like MechWarrior? Because I like that sound.

That's the sound of the engine in the mech you have selected. I don't think there is a work around for that.

I would like this to be an option as well. I like 'mechs and how they sound but the hum can get annoying.

would suggest turning down your Sound Effects settings then, because I dont think there is any other way to get rid of that sound....

Right now there isn't. That doesn't there couldn't be an option for it. Just a little button in the menu "no mechlab hum" should suffice, shouldn't be too hard for the programmers to make.

Here is a hotfix for you.
Use headset - take headset off
Sound is now muted.
Starting game and want sound - put headset on
Sound is now enabled.
No need to thank me.
