(I'm sure this has been adressed before, but since I cannot find the thread I'll voice it again):

I'm surprised at the players lack of ability to discern the armanents of their teammates. In a game where communication and teamplay are critical, being able to tell what role your friends mechs fill is paramount.

Examples of solutions would be a separate friendly target selection(allowing target of target functionality as well), or a detailed version of the "hover" info gained when pointing at a friend.

I would like it so I can avoid sticking with the people with stupid loadouts. Hey, I'm in a Hunchback so I think I'll stick with this Atlas and provide him cover! Why does my large friend have four flamethrowers, two machine guns, and two SSRMs?

yes its been mentioned alot and yes its a great idea. Really would add a bit without a lot of effort (i assume)

Yes, because having each member of a pug type out his exact loadout every game never gets old...
