Hey PGI, great job on MWO; keep up the good work!
My suggestion has to do with whomever your audio engineers are. I was wondering, and hoping, that aside from getting new sounds and such, that certain audio-based technologies were going to be implemented down the line.
A great sound effect is half the battle; but I think immersive audio can really help sell us on the simulation.
How come sounds are not muffled from within our cockpit? How come we cannot hear the Mech's internal loading mechanisms at work? How come there's no howling wind sound in Frozen City when the visibility drops?
New, quality sound effects are great, but I think they'll go a great deal further if we ensure that they are used in as an immersive manner as we can.
Are these things planned on or not part of the current vision?
