I blame you for not recognizing "it" as the subject and the fact that this is a perfectly working english sentence. ^^

Multi-clause sentences allow a shared subject, in this case: "it".

I blame you for beating me to the response. There were pronouns, functioning in the typical noun roles, but there were no nouns in the sentence.

Sorry guys, right, misread this one. Not a sentence with a noun, but still a sentence, sorry I misunderstood that meaning. ^^
