Voted no as I have a better idea https://mwomercs.com...ble-easy-melee/, one that doesn't require an unrealistic animation overhaul to all mechs. In my opinion we'd be better off giving PGI an easy way to shake up the current meta, instead of endlessly petitioning for an idealistic rebuild of the whole game.

Sure thing, but first: Engine Update. MWO sorely needs it's engine updated; hell, I'm advocating for the Amazon's O3DE, which is based on the CryEngine the game based upon.
PS: Not everything needs to be on UE.

I second the motion. The game works well enough.. when it works. When it does not, however, it sucks. I have to wonder just how much leg damage I've incurred from jumping physics glitches. "Oh, you wanted to LAND on that ledge? Sorry, here's 20 meters of air and 3% damage in leg damage because you were actually falling the whole time, despite your actual vector and attempt to soften your landing with your remaining fuel."
Edit: Or gotten popped into the air because I landed on a corner funny and get shot, or get trapped in some geometry from landing funny and get shot. The list goes on.
