Game is completely unplayable for me with either default settings or custom CFG files, I also have a Core2. Pre-patch running custom CFG I had solid ~40fps most of the time (down to 20-30 in a brawl) and it was fine.

Don't know what they have done but it has ruined my experience completely.

Best solution I can offer you all:

It may not be economically viable for everyone, but it is a 100% fix to the problem.

Even if they optimized the code tomorrow, it DOES NOT MEAN that the game specifications are going to stay fixed in stone forever, especially as they add polish and additional processor intensive substance to the game. The only true way to resolve the performance long term is to evolve.

not much better than mine, i have an ATI quad core OC'd at 4ghz 8 gigs ram and a Radeon 6970.

before patch, 60+fps WITH fraps recording
after patch, 10-20 fps without fraps recording. 8+ with it.

Skyrim on Ultra with fraps running is still at 50-60 fps

Vista home premium, 8 gigs of ram, dual core intel 2.66mgz running 700w power supply with a msi gforce 275 gsx lightning card with the overclocking program. Went from 60+fps to 15 after patch. Made annother post about this issue somewhere on mwo forums. Reinstalled all drivers and can only play barely on med settings and lower native than my 1900x1200 screan. Like at 1200x900 an still skipping badly when jenners are in play. Have anti aliasing off an some others set at low. All other of my games including Diablo3, and the old Crysis still run max fps an settings on high with no issue.
PWI knows what changes they made to this latest patch and need to address it publically.
