[Bug] AC Weapons PPC and Gauss fire toward direction of legs instead of crosshairs when in turning fights. I understand leading targets but they also fire in direction of legs when I am turning and firing at a stationairy target at times.

This is probably just net code not knowing I turned my torso but it is a bug none the less.

Not sure about following the legs, but they don't track with the crosshair as fast as they should in turns and manuvers, Now they shouldn't be natts *** like lasers but I Feel that at close ranges you need to lead the target a lot more then you should.

Agreed and I posted a similiar post. They slew (thus the convergence perk). Nothing like having your crosshairs on a mech and you AC20 round goes wide. Just something satisfying about that. :)

Doesnt have anything to do with your legs, but to do with the delay between firing and getting the authorisation from the server to confirm you can fire.

It leads to silly stuff like having to lead a target that is standing still, which makes no sense at all.

Basically what happens is when you press fire, it "remembers" the direction you were facing at the time you pressed fire, and then 100-500ms later it actually fires, but in the direction you were previously facing rather than where your currently facing. The bigger your ping, the worse it is.

If your running in a tight circle, and shoot directly ahead, your shots (well mine with a 250ms ping) end up about halfway from middle of screen to edge of screen. So if the target is also circling me at the same speed or less i have to aim almost at the edge of my screen. Vs something faster, i simply can't hit it because i can't lead it far enough to compensate for the delay.

Yesterday in my Atlas I had the Gauss firing to crazy directions too (completely out of the crosshair). And I was not moving my torso.

I can confirm this 2 ... my YLW is rendered unplayable through this bug ... introduced with the last patch ... was working ok prior to this ... hope they come out with a hotfix otherwise there will be very little people playing ballistics for next 2 weeks
