actually, you play this game to make cbills... period, without cbills you couldnt play. but nice egotistical response though

Actually, im pretty sure i play this game to have fun. I am also pretty sure that you will never be able to anticipate a single thought that ever runs through my head, and i suggest you stop telling people why they do the things they do, cause somebody is probably going to get fed up with it (not to mention that, chances are, you are wrong), and put you in your place forcibly.

It's not about c bills, its about exp. GEXP is currently the most valuable currency in the game right now. A cap gives points to all 8 players, even ones that died so that you might live. They no longer have the option to cap and add to their exp, do you think so little of your team mates that you would not do right by them?

Also, the vast majority of these players if they are at base are not AFK. They are DC. I would love to get Dev response to this to confirm but all my testing has shown you DON'T get salvage, exp, kills etc from a DC'd mech. So if that's true I'm laughing my head off at everyone who rushes to kill them giving themselves a higher ammo repair cost for zero gain, while also costing seven other people an advantage in exp and c-bills.

Even if I'm wrong about the DC'd mechs counting though, you are selfishly taking a minute amount of exp to yourself and denying every other member of your team who plays the game with you their cut from a cap.

Do the right thing, cap it in.

What , What is it that we are working soooo hard for ? that i have to change my enjoyment to ensure that we are better served by altering my play style?

i do not care about the extra this and that, i want everything on the freaking battlefield that is not surrounded by a green lil box billowing smoke and sparks.

So tired of all these ( lets play smarter players) always yelling in chat .. GO for the cap !! more XP !! ANd Cbills !!
I have several kilotons of destructive force here, and i am not going to sit in some base playing tiddlywinks. when there is a perfectly viable target right in front of me!!

And if you have to have a reason that you can wrap your ever so sophisticated and longterm forward thinking mind around it .
Its quite simple.

The value of an explosion has more value to me than this cbill and or xp that you are so set on hoarding.

I really have to ask you though... where are you going? In a few weeks your chosen mechs will be XP capped, you will have 30 million just sitting there doing nothing... and you will be complaining that PGI doesn't have enough content. So really, what is the rush?

I'll Answer this .

i have an appointment for another chance at 8 thats right 8!! more explosions . and it happens right after this last mech falls.

Don't care about the little box thing.

I play this game to dakka big robots.

Do you not have a soul? how could you even compare the value of dakka to sitting in a box waiting for free c-bills?

:)

The only benefit I see is that there's more goodies for the whole team from a cap, especially if a lot of the team is there. But it's really not so much that it's like OMFG DO NOT SHOOT THAT MECH. Stuff explodes when you shoot it, that's enough for some people. For me it's just classier to cap off than to shoot something that doesn't even have a pilot. I've been in a match where we waited for our team's Fatlas to catch up so he could be in on the cap assist XP.

Tell me oh master of Uncaring, how much skill would it take for me to shoot an immobile object? Please at least contribute something other than snark.

If they're an expensive mech, wiping out their legs will give you a similar amount of salvage. If you haven't noticed, cap rewards got cut in half. At the very least, taking his legs out from under him gets you a fair amount, and finishes the game then and their, allowing you to start the next one sooner.

Why all the benevolence for your fellow player. ? why offer him clemency and a cup o tea? whats with all this for the Team !! mentality .

AND why above all must it be at the expense of less dakka?

DAKKA is the one true currency in this game that is what i and others are playing for .

All this lets cap and be good chaps is rather.. Well its just not my speed man, its like im expected to have some kinda of common courtesy for the hardship of others . That i must take into account feelings of others , that i need to be a decent fellow.

that i must try and be socially acceptable. that i must adhere to some law or moral code so that i can belong.

so let me reiterate

Benevolence, clemency, courtesy, decency feelings, socially acceptable and morality . what the hell does that have do with DAKKA damnit ?

nothing absolutely nil applying this idealistic socially progressive forms of thinking to my game of dakka results in less dakka and damnit i want more dakka not less dakka. this is the freaking dakka dakka point already dakka dakka . :)

Some people are here for the teamplay, even in a pug. Dakka is not a bad thing but it is not the only thing. I'm certainly not here to make anyone else hold fire though; dakka whatever you need to man. If the DCs get lit up at the cap 2 seconds before it's finished timing out then the arms at least better blast way off, that's all.

you usually don't get credit for killing afkers, also those who do it because of spite/don't care/don't need money/whatever including chasing the jenner halfway across the map to kill it taking much longer than just caping, others might want the money and xo for cap and you are being a douche for denying your teammates the cap even if they are only temporary teammates

"dont kill the afk'er, lets cap and get more money!!!!!"

how hard is it to understand that??

i made 5 out of the 7 kills and these monkeys kill the afk'er after i repeatedly asked them not to.

grrrrrrrr

What a big Cry BABY!!!! Get a life man. To complain about something so stupid is realy childish.
