The only thing I can complain about is the lack of content. We need more maps and another game mode or two as soon as possible.

There will always be some slight changes that need to be made in damage, heat, ROF etc, but nothing should ever be introduced into a live environment that needs more than a 5-7% change.
Just because something brought in line with its counterparts does not mean it got nerfed.

Gauss, AC20 & LRM20 are in the same bracket. they match up just fine. PPC, AC10, Ultra5, LRM10... match up OK. PPC feels
weak though. balance is fine, fix the game not the Guns!

exactly, time to let them move on to bigger things for a few weeks, they have so much new content, and if they keep coming back to balance the weapons every time lrms or guass comes around full circle, they wont be able to make sure the new stuff works right
Have you noticed they only work to balance the ballistics or missiles? Their is a third weapon system that is so inefficient and ineffective it's only used by die hard fans. Energy weapons are so out of line with damage both burst and sustained. Only people that carry other weapons as their primaries could possibly say that this system is balanced or even balanced enough.
No they shouldn't move on because they can't get what they have working properly as is. And gausscats.... I see at least one in every battle I fight. LRMs have cooled off a bit since the missile debacle fix and ACs are in high use as well. SRMs and ballistics seem to make up the majority of weapons on platforms that can use them but are too limited to afford the gauss. Lasers are primarily a secondary weapon because of heat issues. Medium and small lasers are basically the mainstay weapon. They're used in practically every build because you need something to defend yourself with that is weight efficient and doesn't rely on ammo. MG's are worthless and still take up ammo, AC's weigh too much and require ammo, and missiles have the same issue so the options for secondary weapons are very limited. Their are a few energy only mech chassis variants available, but energy weapons are too inefficient/ineffective to be any real threat. To be more efficient they take a huge hit to damage and to be more damaging they are extremely inefficient. Until this balance is worked out I think PGI should halt forward progress and work it out. At the same time find the cause of the CTD issue and solve it. More content that we're constantly DCing from isn't going to make for a funner game.
For all of you who voted yes, I'm guessing you were begging for the missiles to get fixed when they were destroying teams in record time. It's exactly what would be happening if you just start adding more **** and letting it ride.

That word spells disaster, whenever it comes into play, 'cause it very rarely goes along with objectivity or foresight.
