I reinstalled the game to try and fix the fps issues the new patch caused. got some improvement, though not as much as I lost. Anyway I forgot that I had installed a file someone on the (closed beta I think) forums had come up with, its essentially a translucent filter that replaces the film grain filter (thus removing the grain). Anyone able to point me in the direction of that download? Would very much appreciate it.

I think a dev noted that such modification (while benevolent) are against the terms of use

Thats the filter, after the closed beta I was able to find it in my history for a friend, now I have it bookmarked.

I don't remember a dev ever officially commenting on it one way or the other.

Than I want to see that. When they don't want that you can self write the user.cfg why let they do it? And those effects are really annoying same as those ultra blur effects. I don't want to feel like I play NfS. Because I twist my torso in a atlas, damn that was fast and I get my NfS blur like I was driving 200mph, dafuq men? That is really annoying.
