I know it might sound silly but i dont know how to use any of the points i get per match nor do i know how to purchase any mechs. Some insight would be great!

Go to the mechlab
click "owned mechs" at th bottom left
click "create new mech"
click "owned mechs" at th bottom left
click "create new mech"

You need to have about 1.7 mil for the option to buy a mech even shows up.
This game has almost no ingame info or tutorials at all sorry to say.
