I had a lot of issues with the new patch related to slowdowns on some maps . Thought I'd better let everyone know that reinstalling fixed the lot of them. Seems my shot delay is down too.

Game is now better than ever.

Been reading that this works... sometimes.

How many games have you played? Can you update this thread with any new observations on your performance?

Want to know if the improvement is worth re-downloading everything (unless I don't have to).

I've been playing the hell out of it since yesterday, maybe it is just server load but it seemed to be slowing down again, not anything like it was before the reinstall though. I've heard of people achieving similar results just be deleting their shaders folder (a lot easier to rebuild). Just make sure you back it up first!

I would certainly begin by clearing the shader cache before resorting to a full re-install. The cache is safe to remove and it will reconstruct itself when you load subsequent matches.

The shader cache is located in Mechwarrior Online/USER/
