Was playing on Forest Colony and while fighting in the river near enemy cap (and doing lots of damage to enemy team) I managed to wander out of map and get auto-killed.

Really need a better warning for that but whatever-- problem is, my team won, but I got '0xp' for the win. I did get XP for damage done, salvage, etc. But the actual win tally gave 0 xp.

Isn't that because you only get xp and cb for everything you did before you suicided in an attempt to prevent farming? Since you did the damage etc before you died you get for that but the win came after you died hence you get nothing.

I think the problem with not realising you're out of bounds is that there are so many flashing warning boxes that look very similar and in the same place.

The out of bounds warning/countdown needs to be center of screen.
Most important thing ATM in battle since you get instakilled for saying outside.

Not a bug, it's as intended. Like Inveramesy said, it was implemented to prevent farming, and people padding stats (I think suicides in that dont count against your kill/death, but I'm guess here). Its unfortunate yes, but be more mindful next time.

Is it possible to kill yourself playing a C1 Catapult firing 2x LRM15 at 50% heat? Because I killed myself twice now like that. Got 0XP because of that.

If ou die very early in the match or by out of bounds, the system thinks you are cheating/churning to 'farm' c-bills. so, it only pays you for your merit (kills, damage, etc) but no win/loss payment
