We have a few people not even in beta yet and a few more waiting on upgrades for their computer before playing, not really a big deal. Just fill out an application on our website if you haven't already to finalize the application pretty much (click on my sig to go to the website).

I played Mechwarrior 2 when I was too young to remember much of anything. Played Mechwarrior 3 with a little more coherence, and finally I played the living daylights out of MW4 / Mercenaries. I don't have any tabletop experience, and my knowledge of lore is minimal (be happy to learn though)

Preferred 'Mech class and roles:
I'm partial to heavy class and/or sniping mechs. I've been piloting a Dragon most of my time in the MWO Beta so far and have enjoyed it for the most part.

Tell us a little about yourself:
I live in Houston, TX and have been a fan of/played Mechwarrior for just about as long as I can remember. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a dual major BBA in Information Systems and Infrastructure Assurance last year, and just started a job in Houston about 3 months ago as a Javascript/SQL Programmer.

Currently, I split my time most nights (typically online after 5PM CST) between EvE Online and now MW:O. I'm usually online for about 4-5 hours a day.

Questions and concerns:
Even though I've played Mechwarrior for a long time, I wouldn't say I'm great at it, average at best. However, I feel that in most competitive games/events being able to act as a cohesive team is at least 50% of any given battle. As far as that's concerned, I feel I can completely integrate with any group of people.

Krim, we have pilots with a varying degree of skills. Some pilots will melt your face off in a Jenner (yes, I am actually complimenting you-know-who ), others struggle with accuracy and maneuvering assaults. However regardless of skill, as a group we are one of the deadliest units due to our unit dynamic. We are able to pull together under pressure and come out of nearly any scenario. It is not uncommon to see us win a 6 vs 8, and despite being outnumbered only loose a couple 'Mechs. I am very proud of each and every warrior in my command.

In the short time I've been part of this group, I've fallen more in love with the game. MWO is definitely better when you're dropping with buddies. And these buddies are the ones to be with. Looking forward to playing with them when the game goes live.

I just got into the beta, and I'm really excited to play mechwarrior again! This game is great! I can't wait to see all the things they have planned for this game. I've got a little bit of spare time here and there, and I usually get about 10 hours of gaming in a week. Hopefully that's spent with you guys!
