Tell us a little about yourself: i enjoy board games a lot, havent gotten around to playing battletech yet, but i have printed out basic units and have the rules memorized so i can spring the trap on my friend when he comes round my house. I consider myself a fairly average pilot, with a K/D of about 1/1, i have been a dependable squad leader in many other games such as these, (Planetside, Halo 4, and Hawken) and currently am a captain in a major battlefield 3 clan, where i am very successful, with a consistent win/loss ratio of 3/1. Over time i hope to gain this ratio with MWO. Whilst i am still getting to grips with the nack of mecha battles i am capable of taking orders, and acting upon them to the best of my ability. My main reason to join the Black Wolves is to further my ability to kill, and to get a larger understanding of the lore behind the games.
Questions and concerns: I seriously need to work out the sillouttes of enemy mechs, they all look the same to me, and that is not good. Also, dont know the strengths and weaknesses of the mechas and their weapons.

We are still alive and kicking. We have a core group of players that play almost every night. We have players in Europe and in North America. Your current skill level is far less important than your willingness to play as part of a team.

Also, If your unit is looking for allies for 12v12 mech drops, let us know. We usually have at least a lance on every night.

never was there a better crew to play MWO with. If you just want your k/d to improve, we may not be the right fit for you. But if you want you W/L to improve, this is the place to be.

Gumby is 100% correct. While we are a Clan Wolf based unit, our combat tactics can be very aggressive and I often define them as "Going Falcon;" aka semi-suicidal charges into the enemy. While I do not mean that we simply throw our 'Mechs away, there are times where in order to gain the advantage, the first warrior in line is expected to sacrifice their 'Mech for the victory. Often, it is myself piloting that 'Mech. We do not try to have 4 warriors fighting from the same cover, tripping over one another. Instead we will often choose to roll past the typical stagnant locations and engage the enemy in the open. This results in the first pilot through taking significant damage, although the shock of having an enemy press into close quarters fighting often grants the advantage to the side that took the initiative. I have never hesitated to charge an enemy line knowing that I had Black Wolves behind me.

It may not be friendly to everyone's K/D. It will improve your W/L however, as it is often our unit to make the move to win a game.

Preferred 'Mech class and rolesMedium, Heavy, and Asault. I am a preffered brawler, all of my mechs are built to be up close and personal or medium range with heavy armor in the front and decent speeds for their weight class. My favorite atm is the timberwolf, i use mostly heavy mechs.
Why you want to join the WolvesI have been looking for a group of brawlers to take the charge with, so this seems like the perfect place for me to be. I love the clans, especially clan wolf and have been a battletech junky all my life. I am very tired of running into teams that just sit behind the rocks trying to get their lrm locks...Lbx's dont shoot that far lol.
Tell us a little about yourself:Im a laid back happy go lucky kind of guy, that being said, i aim to win. I will be the first in and last out to any fight, i will happily draw enemy fire for my team. I will keep on fighting in any mech im put in, even if im down to the center torso with one pulse laser and a gimped up leg on my hunchy. I am available during late night times or days when i am off work, (Although given my time zone its not that late for most american times, my 5 am is usually someones 1 am).
Questions and concernsIf possible i would like to receive a pm regarding this (reading through a ton of posts can be tiresome lol).
