It would be useful if the HUD would show the pilot the correct configuration of the mech that is being piloted, so if your in a hunchback it will show what your hunchback looks like instead of the one size fits all display, and it would be useful to see numbers within the colored (armor damage) boundary. This should also apply to targeted mechs as well after the target has been scanned of course. It would also be useful to have more detailed info on the target such as top speed and armor, perhaps only with a scanner?
Another problem issue is identifying friendly mechs, at any given time I would like to know what class of mechs are around and I think this could be done by giving classes (light, med, heavy, assult) a specific map indicator. For example all light mechs will appear as circles on the map, med triangle, exc... but I think there should also be an indicator that is separate if a mech has been spotted but the class has not been identified yet.
