But as has been said, I seriously doubt I'll spend any money on fleeting, temporary changes I don't even get to keep.

I also wish it was more like LoL. I have a friends that have spent tons of money on the skins and champions. I doub't I will be spending any money on camo if it this way.

If you find yourself with an excess of money and nothing decent to spend it on, you could always just purchase a load of mc and wait.

I WANT to customize all of my mechs. Come up with a custom look and color scheme and use that on every mech I pilot. But that means spending MC on every mech I ever purchase. And at this time, the only mechs I know I will have forever are my founders mechs. Many of the mechs I purchase are purely for the sake of opening up the experience teirs. I am planning to sell them when I am done. But I do need to spend quite a lot of time in said mechs, and I would like to show my colors while I am using them.
I am sorry, but this whole setup stinks. I wouldn't mind paying the MC cost if my custom paint job, if that custom look could be then freely applied to all of my mechs as I see fit.

I agree.... You buy it...you should get to keep it and at least be able to swap schemes back and forth on that one mech type without having to remake/rebuy it every time... Their prices seem a little steep too IMO, when you consider you can loose what you paid for.

I don't have the links...I'm to lazy, but they have said that once you put a scheme on the mech you will pay to change it (fine with that if I'd then have both schemes), and will loose the old scheme (color/pattern/decal) you paid for. I also don't mind paying more for things that are permanent and interchangeable/transferable....stuff that isn't should be dirt cheap...and the prices I've seen so far are not dirt cheap IMO.
I want value for my money....Give me more value...I'll give you more money.

Uh... no, you are incorrect. The skins you mentioned are not in the game. "In the game" means we can use/apply them. Files in a folder that aren't accessible in-game don't mean you're going to have to wait longer for a skin on your Raven. In fact, some of the older Mechs (Commando, Hunchback, Dragon, and Awesome) will have to wait a little longer for new skins because they are being re-textured while new skins will be available to your Raven starting 27 November.

This - as far as I understood from the command chair post on the camo system, the active pattern gets erased and replaced with the new pattern.
Quote
Example: If you had previous applied the Dazzle pattern, then apply the Urban Block pattern, you will erase the Dazzle pattern. Your previously applied colors will not be affected.
The way I understood this up till now is that you can only have one active pattern per mech, but keep the applied colors. Up till now I was of the opinion that once you pay for a pattern (MC or CBill) the pattern is archived if it is replaced by a different pattern.
Later on for with the cockpit items they state this, but not clearly for the patterns.
Quote
- Purchased items are permanent. They cannot be sold.
So how will this now work - the rules on the command chair post are clear for cockpit items but not that much for the camo skins imo.
Are once purchased camo patterns permanently archived, like the PC gamer skin and you only pay up if you change / erase a pattern/color on a mech?
I had in mind to create 4 or 5 patterns for my mechs for different maps or different moods I am in, but if every pattern swap to a mech means I have to pay additional MCs each time an MC-cost pattern & colors gets applied, even though I had paid for and applied it previously, I am not so sure I will want to do that.
