I've gotten that before in place of my crosshairs. It is the "Image not found" error image. I didn't have a way to screen shot it at the time though, and it has never happened to me again.

The purple area must be Paul's office, and the star indicates his private espresso machine

I had this last night in place of my crosshairs.

I also had a bug last night where all HUD information including minimap was gone and couldn't be restored by powering down and back up as it usually can.

And another few times I had weird yellow bars horizontally across my screen and gain no HUD.

The last patch contained a lot of weirdness for me. :/
